I rarely watch television unless it’s on Netflix, but I’ve been enjoying Once Upon a Time so I decided to attempt to configure the converter box and antenna to get ABC.  I had it, ultra clear, around 7:30.  I decided to open a beer and Kitty was hopping around so I put the bottle under the coffee table.  At eight I tried to watch the show and of course the reception got all split screen and stutter-y.  I tried dancing around on my head with the antenna, all old school like, to no avail.  

I said to myself, “Oh well, I’m tired anyway.  Shower and bed”.  After bathing, I brushed my teeth and went to grab my phone only to realize I had forgotten my beer!  Well of course I couldn’t put it back in the fridge, the top was already off…

So now I’m watching Rick Steves’ Scandinavia on dvd and finishing my Ipswich Dark Ale.

One of my resolutions for 2012 was/is to cook and bake more.  So far I’ve created a stir fry and some yummy guacamole cheeseburgers.  

Here is a short list of stuff I’d like to make from mostly scratch:

chocolate mousse

fudge

lasagna

rainbow cake or cupcakes

egg drop soup

spanish rice

i love u kitty
