I rarely watch television unless it’s on Netflix, but I’ve been enjoying Once Upon a Time so I decided to attempt to configure the converter box and antenna to get ABC. I had it, ultra clear, around 7:30. I decided to open a beer and Kitty was hopping around so I put the bottle under the coffee table. At eight I tried to watch the show and of course the reception got all split screen and stutter-y. I tried dancing around on my head with the antenna, all old school like, to no avail.
I said to myself, “Oh well, I’m tired anyway. Shower and bed”. After bathing, I brushed my teeth and went to grab my phone only to realize I had forgotten my beer! Well of course I couldn’t put it back in the fridge, the top was already off…
So now I’m watching Rick Steves’ Scandinavia on dvd and finishing my Ipswich Dark Ale.
